I led the acquisition and renovation of this 1900s historic single family in an iconic KC neighborhood, managing the project remotely during acquisition and on-site through construction.

The project required complete systems replacement, structural remediation, and strategic layout reconfiguration. I developed the design strategy — modernized the floor plan, relocated kitchen plumbing for improved flow, primary suite addition—and coordinated contractors across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, and finish trades. I balanced material selections and scope decisions against costs and projected sale value to maximiize return.

I managed scope revisions and value engineering to control the budget while maintaining design intent and target buyer positioning. Daily on-site presence enabled real-time decision-making on material selections, sequencing, and quality oversight. I coordinated listing strategy and buyer positioning with the sales team.
